I can be quite impulsive. Part of the reason why I like traveling is because it requires a certain degree of unprecedented notion towards adventure. After ending a meaningful relationship or experiencing a lot of stress coming from work, I am filled with the urge of going somewhere. Sometimes I wait until I can save up enough money to take off during the idling time of winter. I didn't do that this year though, and the trip I took has disabled me from going back to Guatemala this winter, or Italy (as I had planned) but spring is a few months away and I am hopeful that Italy will still be there; Rome, specifically.
Two months ago I purchased a ticket to New York City. My best friend lives there, and my good friend Adam (@pisscrystals). The day I left Chicago, was quite an adventure. As soon as I was done working at Picture Day, I took a cab home. I only had two and a half hours before my flight took off on the eve of Halloween. I had been so busy that I had no time to do laundry or pack my bags, but I was able to pull things off in less than an hour. I took the blue line straight into O'hare and was twenty minutes early to my flight's gate. Go Me. Arriving almost at midnight, I met up outside of my best friend's apartment on the busy neighborhood of Brooklyn, Williamsburg; just blocks away from the Bedford L. She pulled out her wig and we walked around on Bedford Ave on Halloween, which we like to call... the hipster runway (not just during Halloween, but anytime really). We ate delicious meatballs sandwiches, and drank IPAs, a great start to a week full of food and alcohol (debauchery).

Adam and I, at the Brooklyn Bowl. I saw the band Caveman play live after quite horribly failing at bowling, right next to them.

I also made some new fun friends, Kiki. She did it!

Adam and I went to MoMA (Musemum of Modern Art) and I took some videos with my phone:
