Maurin got married last year to the love of her life, and high school sweetheart, Carlos. She's lived back in South America since December of 2008. She was one of my closest friends when she lived here in Chicago, and I definitely still consider her one of my best friends. I wish I could have taken photos of her special day, but her wedding took place in Colombia and I wasn't able to go.
Just a few weeks ago, Ivonne also got married and I had the pleasure of visually documenting her special day. During the reception someone else took photos. I got to dance and party, proper. Oh yeah.
These are some of my favorite images from the day:

So, two of my close girlfriends have gotten married. Yay for them! When will I get married? Hmm, honestly, I don't know and perhaps I never will... but I do hope that someday I'm lucky to find a love that remains forever, the one that despite the changes and tribulations of life can adapt and grow together and just be.

Hey!
I read on Twitter you want to be a math teacher? That's amazing. I love mathematics. What prompted this?
xx
I've been thinking about switching it up recently. I love photography, but I am almost 30 and I need to think about a retirement plan and a job that offers good benefits. Unfortunately photography, though I make a living, it's only limited to supplying for travels, but not a consistent pay... so... I've always loved math and was pretty good with Algebra and Geometry. I love teaching and miss it, so I'm going to Grad school in the fall!
