It just occurred to me that there's quite a few people who follow my blog. Ironically enough, some strangers follow it closer than my actual friends! :). I would like to hear more often from this strangers. I know that my obvious followers leave me comments from time to time. Though I've noticed that I have some faithful people from the East Coast, specifically NJ reading my blog everyday and visiting my other pages? Thanks for following! and leave me some comments. :)
It's been a very odd spring and summer for me this year, even the weather in Chicago has been weird. It was a very long slow winter, we even got snow in April. I moved three times for the sake of being a good girlfriend and friend. I bought a spur of the moment flight to Guatemala in the late spring. I flew there, spent two weeks in Chiquimula, GUA under 45° C weather. Upon my return a serious and committed relationship n my life came to end, forcing me to move again for the fourth time. It hasn't been easy but it's been better and I have gained back sight of my path and purpose. I like being alone.
I've been asked to come back to work for Warling Studios this fall, with more responsibilities=higher salary. My sister is visiting in August and she will be staying here for a month. A lot of adventures are being planned, one of them is to visit Canada. I've lived in Chicago for a total of 7-8 yrs with a gap of four years - and I have yet not visited our neighbor country! Funny because I've been to so many far away countries.
If you follow my blog, you know about my plans in the winter of 2010 - to document a kite festival in the East-West. My good friend Mimi from college is getting married to a wonderful man from Japan in October of 2010. She's invited me to come to her 4-day wedding event in Japan, and hired me to document this wonderful time of her life. I couldn't be more happy for her, and thrilled to shoot in such an awesome country!
