Perhaps this has been documented, although I had never heard of it until last Tuesday. I discovered this fascinating event during a lunch meeting with an inspiring and wise man, a client and new friend. I am determined to photographically document this colorful and interesting event thoroughly.
I am very interested to go to Pakistan to do a photo story on a festival called Basant. History of Basant.
Currently trying to save money for it and looking for grants, contacts. And of course more information on this part of Pakistan. I plan to stay there for a few months, probably to teach art, specifically photography to children, if at all possible. This will also allow me to get to know the people, and become quite acquainted with the locals.

One of my good friends from college is from Pakistan. She inspired me to learn more about the country.
