The Perfect Day

Spring is in Chicago and it feels like Summer is just right around the corner. It was 75º F today, it was perfect. I rode my bike around town with my nikon strapped around my shoulder and my 20mm on it, which was quite dirty but I didn't care so much.

On my way into the city, I stumbled upon a building being taken down, apparently it was very old... from the 1900s, this is what a drunk older man in his 50s told me, so don't take my word for it.

I had a sweet picnic lunch with Aga in Wicker Park. We caught up on lots of things. Aga is my friend but I barely see her these days. She had started working at two restaurants and then we just kept missing each other. Occassionally met up at other parties and venues. We never had the chance to be sober and talk about our lives, boys, plans for the future.

I must say that I was VERY happy to see her. She is very happy these days and that made me very happy. She has a beautiful fish, which named Peet. It's so pretty, like Aga.

My day ended with a view of the beautiful spring sunset:
