Fall Lessons

It is winter time. I have been slacking on this blog. I'm sorry. I still hope you're looking.

I entered a weird phase in my life this fall. I guess you could call it a photographer's block, a funk. I believe that my need of new equipment had something to do with it. I did however picked up a polaroid during the summer, and have been shooting away like a hipster since. Recently I began once again to carry my Nikon D100 around my shoulder everywhere I went. I shot some parties. I also shot some insight self-portraits. I shot boys I have been dating as well. Here's what I got:

Friends and Men:

Kandice

Stephanie Bassos

Andrew McLees

Geoff (jerk!)

Peluche

Michael Hathaway and Andrew (fake bruises)

Sean?

Michael again.

So instead of feeling sorry for myself that I can't afford a better camera, I did what I could with my D100 and SB800, I tried lomos. .I tried different things. I shot leaves of trees right before we got our first snow of the season
It was perhaps my only chance to capture what I had skipped to record because of my feelings of worthlessness as a photographer, as an artist.
